03-2 夜Yè, night 字在太極 My Chinese characters in TaiChi

Derivation 03-2, night

From the moment your eyes get used to the darkness, we begin to see the brighter stars !

Each Chinese ideogram makes present a world of meanings that, linked by analogy, enrich the reality that the symbol wants to represent with different nuances ... through this sign, this ideogram reminds us that just as the moon always has a shadowy side which we do not see, so also human nature has a dark side that we do not know.

"At this point the darkening is already declining, in place of the Sun you see in the sky a slice of moonshine, and even the small stars ..." When wise people are rejected and put in the shade by a party, they then follow inwardly to the power of truth, which will still be strong enough to

act in ways unseen…

It depicted a man opening his arms, under which appears a little slice of moonshine. The character Yè means “night “ saying 黑夜Hēiyè o 夜晚yèwǎn, generally between 9 o'clock in the evening until the next morning. 深夜Shēnyè " late at night," 半夜Bànyè " midnight " 夜貓子Yèmāozi "night owl" refers to a person who tends to stay up late at night.

The armpit is one part of the body that usually cannot be seen, remains hidden, by analogy is like a slice of moonshine, this way it depicts the hidden secret of this ideograph: to turn human nature which manifests itself as an integral part of heaven and Earth that is the clear principle, and justice to the principle of darkness, the two are in harmony with each other.

It is quite surprising how the ancient Chinese taught the importance and influence of the Moon: through this sign, this ideograph, we are reminded that just as the moon always has one side in shadow that we don't see, so the human nature has a side that we do not know.

明道若昧進道若退夷道若纇。

【老子道德經第四十一章】

The enlightened Way is as obscure.

The progressive Way is as full of obstacles.

The smooth path is as rough.

~Laozi Daodejing 41°

The clear and the dark are the two primordial forces, the same that are represented in books as day and night. Since all the forces are clear, luminous, light, they rise constantly upwards and all the solid, turbid and heavy elements descend constantly downwards, from the initial chaos a perdinity is created which is shown in the cosmos, above the sky and in the Earth is low. From this all things develop ...

These same forces give things their individuality and a center around which we organize themselves, called Essence, i.e. that characterizes their uniqueness, it's like in spring and summer when all the seeds open revealing the goodness and the infinite variety of nature which leads the way. Hand in hand we proceed though the hidden force that hides in the all powerful growth and predisposes them in mysterious ways.

The dance of complementary opposites always maintains the harmony of creation because with one comes another, even in humans, for example, when you develop a sense of dissatisfaction that originates in our efforts to put an end this ensuring a sense of security and affirmation. Obstacles and difficulties in our efforts to assert ourselves led us to become stronger and remedy our sense of inferiority.

To keep this hidden force means to sit still, you are still in harmony with the original innocence, they must resist. Returned at the beginning, this is the time when you make a few mistakes, a time of clarity in which intuitively you see things as they are, without being suffering in the darkness due to interests and desires, thus overcoming their fragility.

He who stands still at first, as long as he has not yet turned away from the truth, finds the right away. That way, when one turns to the outside world, one no longer sees the fight and the tumult of individual beings,  and achieves peace and can act in accordance with universal events.
